Established in January 2017, Leemah Inc. is a non-profit, community based organization with a mission to bridge the gaps of vulnerability and marginalization faced by young girls and women.

What We Do

We focus on:

Education & Skills Development – workshops, mentorship, and vocational training.

Leadership & Political Participation – nurturing women to take active roles in governance.

Health Education, Nutrition & Agriculture – practical programs for wellbeing and self-sufficiency.

Rehabilitation & Counseling – supporting survivors and those in need of guidance.

Advocacy – fighting domestic violence, gender-based injustice, and harmful traditional practices.

Our Vision

A society where all girls and women are valued, educated, and empowered to thrive as active contributors and leaders in their communities.

Meet Our Founder

Passionate. Visionary. Advocate.

  • Miatta founded LEEMAH in 2017 after earning a Certificate in Social Project Management in India. Her mission: to empower women and girls through education, skills, health guidance, rehabilitation, counseling, and advocacy.
  • She believes that every woman is a precious jewel capable of transforming her family, community, and nation. Under her leadership, LEEMAH has grown into a vibrant NGO that nurtures confidence, leadership, and purpose-driven action.
